I am building the top of a wall that involves cutting posts and boards in series. I made a playlist to show how I manage to cut a series of posts that fit with the concealed post base hardware made by Simpson.
Cutting series is always risky because we expect to have an industrial quality made out by hand and in my case, without a workshop, on the field, with only few low quality tools. In most cases, buying expensive tools would not help to make a good series so I build my tools with reclaimed materials and the time I spend on building those tools has always proven to be a gain of quality and of speed. Better results, faster and at the end of the project, better satisfaction.
