You become a man when...




  • You become a man when you fit better with black under wears,
  • A man, the same age as you, wishes he would be younger,
  • A man calls you "dear colleague",
  • A woman calls you "Sir",
  • A man says that you are "serious" about your work,
  • Nobody argues about your pay,
  • Emergency work are paid double wage,
  • People care about you,
  • Nobody talks about your gender and/or sex when you win a project,
  • Men compare themselves to you,
  • Men emulate you as a person,
  • Women feel "comfortable" with you,
  • You have other opinion than your sex/gender,
  • You don't mind being a man and carrying the sex/gender,
  • You are ironic and spiritual (when making this list, I am also ironic and spiritual),
  • You can laugh of yourself without guilt,
  • You can focus on something and keep it straight,

  • You can take responsibilities and be a "good father",

Eima BLANK is a designer and a rewarded entrepreneur who started a career as an ethnographer in 1992, was graduated in architecture in 1995 and is now experiencing her passions as a carpenter and a craft woman. She has directed wood construction projects from 2010 to 2015. She is the author of several books and studies about wood construction and the economy of forestry. She has also won several concourses for her innovations on wood and fabric construction. Her drawings entered an army museum for her sarcastic humor, she has a model house in another museum and she is a member of the ADAGP and the ARS for the management of her artist and designer rights. She is also an occasional cartoonist, what she carries on her smile.
